Our Mission & Vision

The SAM Foundation offers suicide prevention education, resources, & awareness in Georgia, Alabama and surrounding areas.

We also reach across the country with certain virtual programs.

Our Mission: The mission of the SAM Foundation is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education by equipping our communities with the skills to intervene in a suicidal crisis.

Our Vision: Our hope is to change the way our communities view mental health and serve as a resource to those who have been affected by suicide, therefore making our communities more suicide safe. Through our evidence- based trainings, the SAM Foundation reaches a variety of community members, corporate groups, educators, first responders and mental health professionals.

The SAM Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3.
