All Proceeds Benefitting The SAM Foundation
“Cheap Seats, An Alabama Tribute with Boys in the Band” will be held at the Dekalb Theatre in Fort Payne on Friday, December 10. Boys in the Band is a very popular Alabama tribute band that has partnered with The SAM Foundation on this event and also hails from Fort Payne. Like its many other concerts, this benefit will be a high-energy show reminiscent of Alabama’s live concerts over its 50-year career in the country music industry.
The SAM Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes mental health awareness and suicide prevention through its educational training and support programs all over Alabama and Georgia. All proceeds from the concert will go to support the foundation’s valuable educational programming. Both the foundation and the band are so grateful for the support that the Fort Payne community has given them over the years, so they are ready to celebrate together again!
There are several opportunities where businesses and members of the community can support the event. Sponsorships are available right now for a limited time, and tickets will go on sale November 3.
Please join us on December 10 to sing along with some familiar songs and help spread the mission of The SAM Foundation. By supporting this event, we are helping the foundation provide more training programs to educate our communities on how to understand the risk factors and recognize the warning signs of suicide. Since its beginning, The SAM Foundation has trained more than 5,000 individuals, and with our help, they can reach even more people throughout our community.
